PU LLB mock paper pattern explained
What a good PU LLB mock paper looks like: question types, section order, timing and marking, and how to match mocks to the real exam pattern.
What a good mock should mirror
A useful mock follows the official pattern: the same sections, a similar number of objective questions, the same time limit and the same marking scheme, including any negative marking. Check the latest pattern in the official prospectus.
Question types you should expect
Principle-and-fact legal reasoning, direct and applied GK, reading comprehension passages, grammar and vocabulary items, and short reasoning puzzles. Try the free PU LLB mock test to see the format.
Section order and timing
Practise in the order that suits you, but keep a fixed time budget per section. Many aspirants attempt GK first because it is fast, then legal reasoning, then English and reasoning.

Frequently asked questions
- Some are deliberately harder. Judge a mock by how closely its pattern matches the real exam, not by its difficulty alone.
- Start with one a week and build to two or three a week in the final two months, with full analysis after each.
