How to analyse a PU Law mock paper
A step-by-step method to analyse PU Law mock papers: error log, section timing, accuracy targets and what to revise next.
Sort every mistake
Put each wrong or skipped question into one of four groups: did not know, misread, silly error, or ran out of time. Each group needs a different fix.
Check time per section
Note how long each section took. If one section regularly overruns, set a hard cut-off time for it in the next mock.
Set an accuracy target
Aim for high accuracy before speed. With negative marking, fewer careful attempts often score better than many guesses. Read our guide on guessing.
