PU LLB 2026 After 12th — Complete Roadmap for the 5-Year BA LLB Aspirant
If you're in Class 11 or 12 and aiming for the PU BA LLB 5-Year programme in 2026, this is the roadmap that fits law prep into a board-exam-loaded year — without burning out. Designed around the Chandigarh coaching ecosystem.
Step 1 — Pick your Class 12 stream wisely
Arts/Commerce/Science all work for PU BA LLB — the entrance is stream-agnostic. But Arts (with Political Science + History) overlaps 30% with the law entrance syllabus, giving you a free 30 marks of static GK. If you can still choose, Arts is the smart pick.
Step 2 — When to start coaching
- Ideal start — June after Class 11 exams (12-month runway)
- Late start — December of Class 12 (6 months — Jury and Law Prep both run crash batches)
- Very late — March after boards (3 months — only intensive batches; risky for top-200)
Step 3 — Balancing Boards + Law Entrance
Allocate 60% study time to boards (Dec–March), 40% to law prep. After boards end (mid-March), flip the ratio to 80% law / 20% revision. Most Chandigarh coachings have a 'post-boards intensive' module exactly for this.
